From June 22 to August 18, 2024, excavations at the Neolithic lakeshore settlement of Lin 3 on the western shore of Lake Ohrid were resumed. As in previous years, the project was jointly conducted by the Institute of Archaeological Sciences at the University of Bern and the Academy of Sciences of Albania. Participants included staff from the Academy of Sciences in Tirana, researchers and students from the Universities of Bern and Oxford, as well as numerous international volunteers. In total, more than 40 individuals contributed to the excavations, both on land and underwater. The Lin 3 site yielded an extensive range of finds, and for the first time, the continuation of the excavation reached the lakeside boundary of the site.
